What Our Customers Say...
Description
First Edition, Scarce
The first edition of this scarce work in the publisher's original paper wraps.
Harold Joseph Laski (1893-1950) was a professor at the London School of Economics and served as the chairman of the British Labour Party from 1945 to 1946. He was one of Britain's most influential intellectual spokesmen for Marxism in the interwar years.
In this scarce pamphlet, he discusses whether the Second World War is only a postponement of a social conflict to bring a return of a Socialist government. He argues that a Peace Conference with Hitler would be impossible, and that the Second World War aids a future Socialist victory.
