A strongly relevant study of war strategies and tactics to use against Germany in the Second World War. British soldier and military theorist Liddell Hart reflects on the mistakes of the Great War to further argue for the progress of a new model army.
Hart wrote several military strategies and histories, particularly arguing that frontal assault was bound to fail, as proven by his experience serving in World War I.
It was the first book by Hart to be published since the start of the Second World War.
