'The Grapes of Wrath' is a realist novel set during the Great Depression, following a family of poor tenant farmers who are driven from their home in Oklahoma, and set out to California to find new work.
This novel is credited with winning the Nobel Prize for John Steinbeck in 1962. It's one of the most popular works of American literature ever published, and is still widely read in high school and college.

In the original publisher's cloth binding, in the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, smart. Very light bumping to the head and tail of the spine. Spots to the endpapers. Dust wrapper is a little edge worn with some small chips and closed tears, and a little rubbing. Small tide mark to the tail of the spine. A little discolouration and light spots to the wraps. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
