First Edition, Illustrated, Publishers' Original Binding, Uncommon, With Dustwrapper
A first edition of this uncommon volume by American travel writer Agnes Rothery. Found in the price clipped dustwrapper with thirty photographic plates, collated and completed. Agnes Rothery was the pen name of the writer Agnes Pratt, who primarily published travel literature but also wrote several novels. In this work on Norway, Rothery reflects on ancient Norse myths and customs, and attempts to capture the spirit of Norwegians in the streets of Oslo, Bergen, and Trondheim.
Condition
In the publisher's original green cloth binding, found in the price clipped dustwrapper. Externally, smart, with some light bumping to the head and tail of the spine, and a little rubbing to the bottom edge. The wrap has some light edgewear. Internally, firmly bound with bright and clean pages throughout.
