This work details the author's modern house and garden, located close to Hampstead Heath. It was the first work to feature Reginald Arthur Gaskin, Nichol's manservant for over four decades.

Written by John Beverley Nichols, an English writer best known for his gardening works.

Complete with a superior and unclipped dust wrapper.

With photographs in black and white throughout.

An excellent first edition of this delightful biographical gardening work.

Condition

In the publisher's original full cloth binding with an unclipped dust wrapper. Externally very smart, with just a little general wear. Dust wrapper is in excellent condition, with some slight chipping to the head of the spine and otherwise a little general wear. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
