The uncommon first edition.

Edited by John Rickman. 

Includes extracts from 'Thoughts for the Times on War and Death' (1915), 'Civilization and its Discontentes' (1929), and 'Why War?' (1933).

Condition

In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, smart. There is some minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine. The spine is considerably faded and the extremities of the boards are slightly faded. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean with some spotting throughout.
