The fifth printing of Cards on the Table by Agatha Christie in the original publisher's green cloth binding.
Agatha Christie was an iconic crime and detective writer of the twentieth century. This novel features her much loved Belgian detective, Hercule Poirot. Cards on the Table was first published in 1936, this is an early edition.
Two pages of advertisements to the rear. No dust wrapper present.
Condition
In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, smart. There is some bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. The spine and outer edges of the boards are fading and discoloured. There is some marking to the front board. The hinges are starting but firm. There is some minor spotting to the fore edge. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean with the occasional spot.
