    A limited edition, limited to three hundred and seventy-five signed copies for private distribution to friends of the author and the publishers.

    Signed by the author to the title page.

    This thought provoking work was written by Irwin Edman, an American philosopher and professor. The work describes the emotional response to war, with the work being published in November 1939, only a couple months after the start of the Second World War.

    In the publisher's original cloth with the original slipcase. Externally lovely with only minimal sunning to the spine. The slipcase is very smart with handing marks. Internally firmly bound with clean and bright pages.
