A charming portfolio containing twelve plates of animals by Chiang Yee.
The lovely plates in this work depict groups of cats, swans, dogs, seagulls, deer, ducks, mice, cocks and hens, horses, geese, monkeys, and penguins.
Collated, complete.
Chiang Yee was a Chinese poet, author, and painter, known for his 'Silent Traveller' volumes. He was nominated for the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1973.
Condition
In the original publisher's quarter cloth binding with paper to the boards. Externally, smart. Light spotting to board perimeters. Bumping to back strip head and tail. Tail of rear joint starting, with board firmly held. Internally, unbound as issued. Pages are bright, with instances of light spotting.
