A charming portfolio containing twelve plates of animals by Chiang Yee.
The lovely plates in this work depict groups of cats, swans, dogs, seagulls, deer, ducks, mice, cocks and hens, horses, geese, monkeys, and penguins.
Collated, complete.
Chiang Yee was a Chinese poet, author, and painter, known for his 'Silent Traveller' volumes. He was nominated for the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1973.
Condition
In the original publisher's quarter cloth binding with paper to the boards. Externally, smart. Light bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Light discolouration and marks to the boards. Internally, unbound as issued. Pages are bright and clean with a few scattered spots.
