A lovely first edition copy of this charming pop-up book exploring different species of animals and their lives, edited and produced by S. Louis Giraud.
With six pop ups of various animals including a camel, giraffe, elephant, lion, bison and polar bear.
The tree pop up on the elephant pop up has come away from the page but remains intact. The rest of the pop ups are in lovely working condition.
Collated, complete.
Condition
In the publisher's original pictorial boards. Externally, excellent with some bumping to the head and tail of the spine. A previous owner inscription to the front free endpaper. Internally, firmly bound with bright and clean pages. The tree pop up on the elephant pop up has come away from the page but remains intact. The rest of the pop ups are in lovely working condition.
