First Edition, Illustrated, Scarce
Limited to three hundred and fifty copies. Illustrated throughout with many in text vignettes a full page monochrome frontispiece. The work was privately printed for Littlestone Golf Club and is a scarce example of this charming work detailing the various plants found on the course. Littlestone golf club is in Littlestone, Kent and is recognised as one of the top one hundred courses in the UK. The club has two courses, The Championship Links and The Warren.
Condition
In the original paper wraps. Externally very smart with some slight shelfwear to the extremities. Slight creasing and splitting to the head of the spine. The odd spot to the wrap. Internally firmly bound. Pages generally bright and clean with scattered spotting, heavier to the first and last few pages.
