Three volumes of works by and about British archaeologist, army officer, diplomat, and writer, T. E. Lawrence, known as Lawrence of Arabia and renowned for his role in the Arab Revolt.
The first two volumes present here are the 1939 edition of Lawrence's autobiographical account of his time serving as a military advisor to the Bedouin, 'The Seven Pillars of Wisdom', first published in 1926.

Illustrated with a frontispiece and three plates to volume I, and a frontispiece and illustrated map to volume II. Collated, complete.
First published in 1938, also present is a 1941 edition of David Garnett's fascinating publication of the correspondences of Lawrence, with the letters included date from between 1906 to 1935.
With a contemporary inscription to the front free endpaper of the correspondence volume.
