Focusing on both his life and work, this volume makes for an interesting insight into Thackeray's influence from a Twentieth Century perspective. Includes an illustrative plate to endpages.

Condition

In cloth binding with gilt detailing and original unclipped dustwrapper. Externally smart, there is some minor shelfwear. The dustwrapper is somewhat chipped, features markings, fading and agewear. Internally, the pages are firmly bound and are lightly foxed throughout.
