An uncommon first edition copy. This copy is signed by the authors to the front free-endpaper: 'A. F. and E. M. Lowry, from the authors [Signed]' Collated, complete with twenty nine plates, two of which are folding, and seven folding maps to the rear of the text.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, slightly cocked. Minor shelfwear to extremities and head and tail of spine. Slight fading to spine. Faint marking to boards. Internally firmly bound. Pages very bright and clean throughout. Ink inscription by authors to the front free-endpaper.
