Written by Naomi Royde-Smith, who was the first woman literary editor of the 'Westminster Gazette'. In that role, she published the early works of Rupert Brooke, Rose Macaulay, Graham Greene, and Elizabeth Bowen.
Theodora Bosanquet was a fellow writer and editor, and amanuensis to Henry James. She was the director and literary editor of 'Time and Tide'.
Condition
In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, smart, with some light marks. Spine is a little age-toned. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. A proof copy with stamps and the occasional ink correction.
