The first edition. Rebound in a handsome quarter morocco binding by Maltbys of Oxford, with the original cover illustration added to the front board. With the engraved half title page, alongside three full page maps, one photograph plate, and the original illustrated paste-downs by Charles Lindbergh. Collated complete. 'Listen! The Wind', is an exciting and adventurous work, telling the story of a flight taken from Africa to South America, over the Atlantic ocean, by Anne Morrow Lindbergh and her husband. The work mainly focuses on the final days of the expedition, when weather conditions and illness caused serious issues for the couple. Anne Morrow Lindbergh was an American writer and aviator who embarked on numerous adventures with her husband. Charles Lindbergh was a renowned aviator and military officer, best known for making the first non-stop flight from New York City to Paris. With a bookplate for one, 'Peter M. Scott', to the front blank.

Rebound in quarter morocco. Externally, excellent with minor shelf wear. Internally, firmly bound. Pages very bright and clean. The odd spot towards the rear of the book. Very small closed tear to the bottom of page xi. Bookplate to the front blank.
