Written by Italian motoring journalist Giovanni Canestrini. A thorough edition detailing the history of transport within Italy. Published by the Reale Automobile Club d'Italia, founded in 1927 to promote motoring and demonstrate the interests of drivers; the word 'Reale' was dropped from the name in 1946 with the abolition of the monarchy. In the Italian language. Profusely illustrated throughout with full plate and vignette illustrations and a handful of colour plate maps.

Condition

In a full cloth binding, rebound with the front and spine preserved. Externally generally smart, some rubbing to the original cloth. Internally firmly bound, pages bright and clean with just the odd spot.
