Two volumes from the Ten Pound Series, being travel guides to Norway and Sweden.
Sadly due to the twin ravages of rarity and inflation the guides themselves are now more than this. Rare in the dust wrappers.
Both are reprint copies from 1938.
Norway on £10 explores Oslo, travel, Bergen and other sights on a budget of £10. With a folding map to the rear and in-text illustrations.
Sweden on £10 follows the same precedent and explores Stockholm, trains, Gothenburg and other sights of the country. With a folding map to the rear and in-text illustrations.
Collated, complete.
Both are illustrated by Edward C. Caswell and written by Sydney A. Clark.
Both are in the original unclipped dust wrappers.
Condition
In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, generally lovely with some light fading to the spine of Norway. Internally, firmly bound with bright and clean pages. Both are in the original unclipped dust wrappers which are smart with some fading to the wraps and spine, a small hole to the spine of Norway and marks to the rear wrap of Norway.
