The only autobiographical work of noted English novelist and playwright J.M. Barrie, most well-known for being the creator of infamous children's character, 'Peter Pan'.
This memoir is a string of newspaper articles Barrie wrote from 1885 to 1887, as well as a number of memories they invoked.
The first trade edition of this work, published just five months after the death of Barrie.
Including a preface by the Earl Baldwin of Bewdley, and nine illustrations.
Enclosed in the original dust wrapper.
Condition
In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, very smart, with just some light shelf wear and a few small marks to the boards. Original unclipped dust wrapper is very smart, with just some light edgewear and light sunning to the spine. Internally, firmly bound. A few spots to the odd page and to the fore-edge, otherwise pages are bright and clean.
