Brenda Spender contributes a total of nine essays to this volume to accompany Dowd's illustrations.

Condition

In the original publisher's cloth binding, in the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, smart. Small mark to the spine. Dust wrapper is smart with a few spots to the reverse and rear wrap. A few very light marks to the wraps, and a small repaired closed tear to the head of the front joint. Spine is a little discoloured. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean with only a few very faint handling marks.
