Folding Maps, Publishers' Original Binding

A scarce set of four colour folding maps issued by the Kelly's Directory in 1937. Collated, complete.

These four maps depict, respectively, the North Western, South Western, North Eastern and South Eastern quadrants of London.

Kelly's Directory was a trade directory listing businesses, tradespeople, and a general directory of postal addresses in the United Kingdom, similar to today's Yellow Pages.

Former owner's inscription, 'D. L. Cumming' on pocket attached to front paste down.

Condition

In publisher's original cloth binding. In a wallet style binding, with pockets to front and rear paste downs housing two maps each. Externally, smart, with some shelfwear to extremities and fading to spine. Former owner's inscription of pocket to front paste down. Internally, firmly bound. Some light marks to quadrant diagrams pasted to outside of pockets. Tape repair to rear of one fold of the SW and NE sections. Small tape repairs to rear of closed tears at perimeter of map on NW Section. Maps are bright and clean.
