In the publisher's original cloth with the original very scarce unclipped dust wrapper. This lithographic wrapper was drawn direct on to the stone by John Nash.
Illustrated with a colour frontispiece, monochrome vignettes and twenty-six monochrome plates. Collated, complete.
This work was written by R. E. S. Spender and L. F. Pesel and provides a detailed gardening guide to growing irises, covering growing irises for rock gardens, planning your garden, and types of iris.
Condition
In the publisher's original cloth with the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, excellent with minor marks to the boards. Lacking front free endpaper. Light spotting to the endpapers. The wrap is sound with sunning, heaviest to the spine, spotting, closed tears and chips to the extremities. Internally firmly bound with bright and generally clean pages with only the odd spot, heavier to the rear.
