First Edition, Publishers' Original Binding, Uncommon

The uncommon to see first U.K. edition, first impression.

Poirot is summoned by an elderly woman when she thinks her live is being threatened by her family. However, by the time Poirot arrives, the woman has already died, supposedly of natural causes...Along the way, Poirot is helped by his sidekicks Hastings, and a fox terrier named Bob.

Agatha Christie is one of the most prolific and successful detective writers of her time, writing sixty-six detective novels in total. She is best known for her protagonists Hercule Poirot and Miss Marple.

Condition

In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, generally smart, with a small amount of wear and loss to the tail of the spine. Minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Spine is a little faded, with a mark to the head. Some light marks to the boards, with a little discolouration to the head of the front board. Spots to the fore edge. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright with some scattered spotting, mostly to the first and last few pages.
