Description

First Edition, Publishers' Original Binding, With Dustwrapper

The first US edition, first impression of this humorous P.G. Wodehouse novel, first published in the UK the year prior.

Though the plot remains the same, the UK and US editions differ significantly, with Wodehouse rewriting and editing the length of the US edition.

A movie mogul, women's hockey player and Hollywood starlet are about the luxurious ocean liner the S.S. Atlantic alongside the amiable Monty Bodkin, the nephew of Sir Gregory Parsloe-Parsloe, who had previously appeared in Wodehouse's 'Heavy Weather'.
