Though the plot remains the same, the UK and US editions differ significantly, with Wodehouse rewriting and editing the length of the US edition.
A movie mogul, women's hockey player and Hollywood starlet are about the luxurious ocean liner the S.S. Atlantic alongside the amiable Monty Bodkin, the nephew of Sir Gregory Parsloe-Parsloe, who had previously appeared in Wodehouse's 'Heavy Weather'.
Condition
In the publisher's original cloth binding, with price clipped dust wrapper. Bumping to spine head and tail, with discolouration to back strip and board perimeters. Rear hinge starting, with board holding firm. Lacking rear free endpaper. Light spotting to fore edge of text block. With an age toned protective glassine partially adhered to the rear wrap, back strip and front wrap. Small closed teat to head of front joint, with small loss to back strip head and tail. Internally, firmly bound. Light spotting throughout.
