Dudley Talcott was an American sculptor and author. He lived in Norway for some six years and produced a great deal of work, including two books, during this time.
With a contemporary ownership inscription stating 'Noel_ _, Evesham - London! August 1941'.
The first edition of this work, which is illustrated with maps, drawings and photographs throughout.
Condition
In the publisher's original full cloth binding with an unclipped dust wrapper. Externally generally smart; spine has a small tear to the head affecting the title a touch. Dust wrapper has loss to the extremities, the head of the spine and a little chipping to the tail; spine is somewhat sunned with wear to the joints. Internally, generally firmly bound, with rear hinge starting a touch but remaining firm. Pages are bright and clean.
