Kingston's works were popular during the Golden Age of Detective Fiction.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth binding, with price clipped dust wrapper. Externally, excellent. Dust wrapper lightly age toned to back strip, with tape repairs to dust wrapper reverse at head and tail of back strip. Significant closed tear to head of rear wrap. Further closed tear to back strip head, and light chipping to back strip head. Light handling marks to rear wraps. Internally, firmly bound. Minor spotting to title page, with pages otherwise clean and bright.
