The scarce first edition. Limited to 379 copies, this being number 15. In a quarter morocco binding with gilt detail, alongside the original, unclipped dust wrapper. With a monochrome portrait frontispiece. The last selection of A. E. Housman's poetry, published posthumously and edited by Housman's brother, Laurence. Including titles such as, 'The Sage to the Young Man', and, 'When Israel out of Egypt came'. Alfred Edward Housman was an English classical scholar and poet, best known for his poetry collection titled, 'A Shropshire Lad'. The half title page is present. With the previous owner's ink signature to the front blank.
