    A first edition of this very scarce work. In the publisher's original paper wraps. With a frontispiece depicting a group of racquets players. This work was written by Robert W. Henderson. Henderson worked at the New York Public Library and was a respected sports historian who served as the librarian of the Racquet and Tennis Club. This work discusses the age of the sport of racquets.

    Condition

    In the publisher's original paper wraps. Externally very smart with discolouration to the extremities of the wraps and the odd mark. Internally firmly bound with bright and clean pages with the odd mark only.
