The first edition of this very scarce work.

In the original unclipped dust wrapper.

An intriguing esoteric novel regarding the ruthless Herod, his courtesan, and John the Baptist. 'Herod's Courtesan' is an interesting look and refreshing retelling of the Christian mythos.

Written by John Henry Symons, who also wrote the science fiction novels 'The Supreme Mystery' and 'The End of the Marriage Vow'.

Undated, dated from Jisc from a copy held at the British Library.

Condition

In the original publisher's cloth binding, in the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, smart. Very light bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Only a few very light marks to the boards. Dust wrapper is a little age-toned with a few light marks, and light edge wear. Small tide mark to the front wrap. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
