In the original unclipped dust wrapper.

A biographical novel on the life of socialite Anthony Beavis, focusing on four periods of his life from the 1890s to 1936, though not told in a chronological order, and his disillusionment with high society.

Huxley is best remembered today for his dystopia 'Brave New World'.

Condition

In the original publisher's cloth binding, in the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, smart. Minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine, and a small bump to the front joint. A few small marks to the boards and spine. Spots to the fore edge. Small amount of cockling to the front paste down. Some edge wear to the dust wrapper, with some small chips and closed tears. Spine is a little sunned. Spots to the reverse of the wraps. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
