This work was written by T. H. White, an author who was best known for his Arthurian tales including his popular work 'The Sword in the Stone'. This autobiographical work provides an account of the author's time living in the British countryside.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth. Lacking dust wrapper. Externally generally smart with fading to the extremities of the front board and spine, marks to the boards, a lean, bumping to the extremities and small closed tears to the head and tail of the spine. Offsetting to the front free endpapers with a date stamped to the rear pastedown and remnants of a label to the rear. Internally generally firmly bound with signs of strain to pp.288. Pages lightly age toned with occasional spotting, heavier to the front and rear.
