Written by the noted horticulturist and garden designer, Gertrude Jekyll. Jekyll created over four-hundred gardens across the world, as was renowned for her writings for 'Country Life'.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth binding, with unclipped dust wrapper. Light shelf wear to back strip tail, otherwise externally excellent. Front free endpaper removed. Dust wrapper age toned to back strip, with losses of paper to back strip head and tail. Closed tear and four chips to front wrap head, with two further chips to rear wrap head. Small piece of tape to rear wrap head. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright, with instances of spotting throughout.
