What Our Customers Say...
Description
First Edition, Illustrated, Original Binding, Publishers' Original Binding, With Dustwrapper
First edition. With the vanishingly scarce original unclipped dust wrapper. Illustrated with six plates. Collated complete. Written by Mary Vivian Hughes, a British educator and author known for her series of four memoirs beginning with A London Child of the 1870s (1934). In these works we meet Tony, the "golden aunt". This book provides further insight into her own fascinating life and romantic story, from her earliest memories of the tin-mins in Cornwall to the pine-forests and fjords of Norway.
