Illustrated with coloured frontispiece, three maps (two of which are folding), three plans, and twenty-eight plates. Collated complete. The naval history of Mauritius from 1715 to 1810, with reference to: the Seven Years' War, King of the Corsairs, naval command, English attacks, and the battle of Grand Port. Written by H. C. M. Austen, a writer and historian.

Condition

In the original blue cloth binding. Externally, sound with rubbing and bumping to the extremities. Minor loss resulting in fraying to the edges. Rear joint starting but firm. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean with the odd mark.
