Illustrated, Publishers' Original Binding, Very Scarce
A very scarce work. In the original French. A children's work about a little boy name Georgie, who goes on holiday to the mountains, and all the animals he sees there. Written by Henriette Perrin-Duportal. Perrin-Duportal also wrote 'Georgie Chez sa Cousine Lili'. Illustrated throughout by Kuhn-Regnier. Kuhn-Regnier was a French illustrator who drew characters inspired by Greek and classical art. He contributed illustrations to magazines such as 'La Vie Parisienne', 'La Sourire', and 'Fantasio'.
Condition
In the original publisher's quarter cloth binding with pictorial paper to the boards. Externally, smart. A very little bumping to the head and tail of the spine. Small amount of loss to the front endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
