First edition, second impression of Four Hedges A Gardener's Chronicle by Clare Leighton in the original publisher's cloth binding and unclipped dust wrapper.

This lovely gardening book is categorised into twelve parts dedicated to the months of the year. With beautiful illustrations throughout the text of wood engravings by the author. 

Clare Leighton was an English-American writer and illustrator. She is best known for her wood engravings.

Condition

In the original publisher's cloth binding and unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, very smart. There are some small tears to the extremities of the dust wrapper. There is some slight bumping to the head and tail of the spine. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean with the occasional spot.
