This is bulletin number 2. This report has some interesting provenance as it is from the library of Frederic Newhouse (1883-1969), sometime inspector-general of Egyptian irrigation in the Sudan. With his inscription to the front wrap. Illustrated, with four plates and a large folding plate to the rear. Written by G W Graham, a Government Geologist. This work touches on meteorology, general principles governing ground water and its movements, geological formations in relation to water supplies, water supply requirements, construction of wells and drilling and conservation of water.
Condition
In the original paper covered boards. Externally, generally smart with a small amount of loss to the head and tail of spine. Slight age toning to the page edges. Prior owner's inscription to the front wrap, F Newhouse. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright. Occasional correction to the pages by prior owner Frederic Newhouse.
