Early Edition, Illustrated, Publishers' Original Binding, With Dustwrapper
Revised and reprinted from the original Limited Collected Edition of 1932, first thus. Containing a collection of short pieces and sketches from the works of Bernard Shaw, including titles such as 'Aerial Football,' 'The Emperor and the Little Girl,' 'The Miraculous Revenge,' and 'The Theatre of the Future' among others.
This edition adorned with lovely woodcuts in text by famous illustrator John Farleigh. Complete with unclipped dust wrapper.
Condition
In the original publisher's full cloth binding. Externally lovely with minor shelf wear only. Previous owner's gift inscription to front free endpaper dated 1934. Dust wrapper unclipped and sound with some shelf wear, chipped to head and tail of spine, sunning to spine and wraps. Internally, firmly bound. Minor spotting to first and last few leaves only, otherwise pages bright and clean throuhgout.
