What Our Customers Say...

Description

Colour Plates, First Edition, Illustrated, Publishers' Original Binding

An interesting and unique handbook of practical and technical instruction on designing carpets in terms of both art work and industrial design. With a focus on the art seldom recognised in the carpet manufacturing industry, Mayers' work aims to develop in its readers an appreciation of the higher qualities of design for the betterment of those in the field and the public alike. First edition. With dust-jacket in protective wrapper. With thirty two plates, monochrome and coloured, collated complete. This informative and specialised work presents the art of the carpet and the skill to designing it in an accessible manner, yet technical enough to educate those already in the field.
