What Our Customers Say...
Publishers' Original Binding, Scarce, Signed
A very smart copy of this memoir of Harlold Jager, a former German Passport Control Officer who disobeyed orders to keep the Berlin Wall shut. In 1989, he bravely opened the Bornholmer Strase border crossing of the Berlin Wall.
Containing a frontispiece illustrated from a photograph.
A signed presentation copy of this work, with an ink gift inscription to the front free-endpaper: 'To Arthur Astley, my old friend and colleague, from Harold Jager'. Also including a charming illustration of a cat by the author.
In the publisher's original blue cloth binding. Externally, lovely, with some minor shelf wear and light bumping to the head and tail of the spine. Author's ink inscription to the front free-endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. A few spots to the first and last few pages, but otherwise pages are bright and clean.
