Publishers' Original Binding, With Dustwrapper

This work is a play, written when Lawrence was twenty-one, and drawing much inspiration from his family's lifestyle and relationships.

David Herbert Lawrence (1885-1930) was an English writer and poet, known for controversy caused by the sexual nature of his work, which at the end of his life was misunderstood, leading him to undertake self-imposed exile. His best knowns works include 'Lady Chatterley's Lover', which was banned in many Western countries due to its obscenity, and 'Sons and Lovers'. 

In its original unclipped dust wrapper.

Condition

In the publisher's original full cloth binding with an unclipped dust wrapper. Externally very smart, slight general wear only. Dust wrapper is in excellent condition, again with only general wear. Internally firmly bound, pages are bright and clean bar the occasional spot.
