With a contemporary inscription, dated Christmas 1933, to the front free endpaper.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth binding, with price clipped dust wrapper. Discolouration to back strip, with bumping to spine head and tail. Light tide mark to tail of front board, with areas of fading to rear board. Foxing to fore edge of text block. Discolouration to dust wrapper back strip. Losses to back strip head and tail. Light tide mark to tail of front wrap. Fading to head of rear wrap. Inscription to front free endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages generally clean and bright, with the odd spot.
