Written by the Scottish author John Buchan.

Prior owner's ink inscription to the half-title.

Condition

In the original publisher's cloth binding, in the original unclipped dustwrapper. Externally, smart. A little discolouration to the spine and boards. A few minor marks to the boards and spine. Light spots to the fore edge. Front hinge is starting but firm. Dustwrapper with minor edgewear, resulting in small chips to the head and tail of the spine. A little discolouration and some light marks to the wraps. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean with just a couple of light spots. Prior owner's ink inscription to the half-title.
