'The Great Sermon Handicap' was first published in the June 1922 edition of Strand Magazine. Its plot continues into "The Purity of the Turf" but the two may be read as independent stories. Sir Pelham Grenville Wodehouse, was an English humorist whose body of work includes novels, short stories, plays, poems, song lyrics and numerous pieces of journalism. He enjoyed enormous popular success during a career that lasted more than seventy years, and his many writings continue to be widely read. With pink marbled endpapers.
Condition
Bound in red leatherette with gilt embossed title. Externally excellent with just some light rubbing. With a small ink mark to bottom left corner of front board. Internally firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
