'Islands of the West' looks at the beauty of the British isles, exploring the Outer Hebrides, St. Kilda, and Connemara, the 'Celtic fringe' of Britain.

Illustrated with a frontispiece, and forty-eight plates.

Collated, complete.

Written by Seton Gordon, a Scottish naturalist and folklorist.

Bookplate of Helen Stewart McKay to the front pastedown.

Condition

In the original publisher's cloth binding, in the original unclipped dustwrapper. Externally, smart. A little bumping to the head and tail of the spines. A few light marks to the boards and spine. Bookplate to the front pastedown. Dustwrapper with a couple of repairs to the reverse. Light edgewear to the wraps. Spine is discoloured, with a few light marks to the wraps. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. The occasional pencil mark to the margins.
