Illustrated throughout by Cecil Aldin (1870-1935), a British artist and illustrator best known for his paintings and sketches of animals, sports, and rural life.

In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally generally smart, though faded, particularly to the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
