A complete three volume set of Churchill's The Great War, which was originally published in twenty six fortnightly parts.
The Great War is a more accessible version of Churchill's six volume series The World Crisis, more accessible to a wider public. The World Crisis was Churchill's account of the First World War which was analytical and published between 1923 and 1931.
The first volume contains chapters I, Milestones to Armageddon, to chapter XXXIV, The Deadlock in the West. The second volume contains chapter XXXV, The Origin of Tanks and Smoke, to chapter LXVI, At the Ministry of Munitions. The third volume contains from chapter LXVII, The Munitions Budget, to chapter XCVIII, The End of the World Crisis, also with an Appendices and Index.
These three volumes are fully illustrated with photographs, drawings and maps throughout the text.

Condition
In half morocco binding with cloth covered boards. Externally, generally lovely with some rubbing to the spines. Internally, firmly bound with bright and clean pages.
