A fascinating spiritual work concerning death by Dion Fortune, British occultist, ceremonial magician, novelist and author. Fortune is recognised as one of the foremost occultists and ceremonial magicians of the twentieth century and is a prolific author of both fiction and non-fiction.

In this first edition, first impression, Dion looks at death with chapters on the Great Anaesthetist, grief, traditional customs and psychic facts, purgatory, pathologies of death, and much more. 

Condition

In the original publisher's quarter cloth binding over paper covered boards, with title label tot he front board. Externally sound with minor shelf wear and light soiling to the boards, minor faint damp marking to the front board. A minor warping tot he boards. Clipping to the head of the front free endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Light spotting to the fore edge, affecting only the first and last few leaves slightly. Otherwise, the pages are generally very clean throughout.
