What Our Customers Say...

Description

First Edition, Publishers' Original Binding, With Dustwrapper

The first edition of this novel by Thomas Washington Metcalfe.

This book recounts the entertaining adventures of Aloysius O'Callaghan, also known as El Rey in Santa Anna. Most of the occurring events are told from his own lips: to Josephine, to Strongbow, to the Duc de Meridon, to his familiar, to the well known sportsman, to Camelot Crowther.

The third novel by this author, the Choice of the Book Society in April 1932.

With the scarce dust wrapper, unclipped.

Condition

In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally lovely with minor shelf wear only. The dust wrapper is unclipped and smart with slight shelf wear and a minor sunning to the spine, as well as some faint scattered spotting internally to the wraps, slightly affecting the externals. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean.
